coaching

Redmarley provides one to one executive coaching.

Our approach is inclusive rather than exclusive. In working to raise the client’s awareness of the frustrations and blocks to growth and development we will always follow their lead. We work from a premise that at some level the client already knows the way forward. And from the premise that he or she has all the resources necessary to change. We believe in remaining open, attentive and – when the coaching relationship feels appropriately safe – prepared to experiment.

We will always begin with a chemistry session to allow for coach and client to establish that they both feel they can work together productively. From there the way forward is as wide or as narrow as the client’s needs. We can focus on assisting the client prepare for stepping up to a new role, to helping them work towards a change in organisational structure or implementing a change programme. Or the coaching conversation can be much more personal, exploring possibilities for personal growth within the organisation.

Ultimately we seek to enable the client to lead to the conversation so that he or she can take full ownership of and responsibility for the change.

the coaching contract

Before we begin our work together we will establish a clear contract. This will make explicit mutual expectations, Redmarley’s relationship with you and with your organisation, and the nature and extent of confidentiality.

We will define your objectives, the process for monitoring progress and the scope of our programme of sessions. Typically this will extend over a six or twelve month period, meeting every three weeks for a period of an hour and a half. These parameters of course will be discussed and agreed between us.

At the conclusion of our work together our final session will consist of a thorough debriefing of the experience and, where appropriate, a debriefing with the organisation.
